Simplify your Laundry Routine

We know laundry can be a big task, but it just got easier with new Tide PODS --Tide’s new ultra-convenient, 3-in-1 laundry product that cleans, fights stains and brightens. Just put one pac of pre-measured detergent into your machine to simplify your laundry routine. How’s that for innovation?

Now is the time to take small steps to clean up your laundry routine. While we know laundry is one of your daily or weekly tasks, take a moment to read through the tips below to ensure you are using and storing Tide PODS properly. You’re on your way to a convenient, simpler laundry routine.

Storage

• Keep Tide PODS out of the reach of children and pets between every load to prevent unintended exposure.1,2
• Always ensure your Tide PODS reclosable bag or tub is tightly sealed during storage.
• As with any laundry product, keep Tide PODS in their original container with intact labels.2,3
• Store Tide PODS away from food, as you would with any laundry prodcut.1,4

During Use

• Add a Tide POD to the bottom—also known as the drum—of the washing machine, both for top loader and high efficiency front loader machines, before adding clothes for best results. Do not add the pac to your machine’s dispenser drawer.
• Do not cut or tear the pouch. It is designed to dissolve completely in the machine, even in cold water.
• Use one pac for most loads, but for heavily soiled loads you can use two.
• Do not use for hand washing or pretreating laundry.
• If pacs stick together, do not pull hard as the pouches may tear. If two pacs stick together, place them together in the machine.
• Handle the pacs with dry hands only, and remember to close the bag or tub completely after each use.

Disposal

• Do not use empty Tide PODS containers for storage of any other materials.2

Know what to do before unintended exposure happens. Read product safety information provided on the package.
Unintended exposure with laundry products usually causes no serious medical effects. If in eye(s), rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice, as needed. If on skin or clothing, remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin well with water. If swallowed, drink a glass of water or milk and contact the Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222) or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
